[AI ERROR / SAFETY BLOCK - RAW ENGLISH RETAINED]

Klein put the piece of paper down and rubbed his temples, deep in contemplation. He could confirm that these visions were not merely fears projected by his subconscious, for he had performed the divination himself.

A palace on a mountain peak that wasn’t meant for humans, a silent, intimidating stare, and the contorted image of maggots...

Silently recalling what happened in the past, Klein wondered if it was the same entity he had reached out to with his luck-enhancement ritual or a result of the Antigonus family’s notebook...

Right, that notebook mentioned a Kingdom of the Night in the Hornacis mountain range! The palace in the dream was on a mountain peak!

After a brief interpretation, Klein felt a surge of relief that he had chosen the Seer potion. According to Old Neil, Mystery Pryers could also divine through dreams, but they weren’t as effective as a Seer.

Sigh. I guess I haven’t seen the last of it... All I can hope for is the early capture of Ryer Bieber...Collecting himself, Klein picked up the piece of paper with the star chart and slowly walked toward the door.

He opened it and headed to the reception area, where he saw Anna gazing out the window, completely ignoring her cup of black tea.

“Ah, Mr. Moretti, is there a result?” she called, noticing him peripherally. She stood up in a hurry.

Klein did not answer immediately. Instead, he inquired about the revelation from his dream, “Does your house—or Mr. Meyer’s house—have a toy windmill in front of it?”

Anna’s eyes widened, and she was struck silent for a long moment. Finally, she muttered, “That was a present he gave me. It’s right outside my front door. How did you know that...?”

C-c-can this be divined, too?

Klein smiled gently and spoke in a warm tone, “Congratulations, Miss Anna. Mr. Joyce Meyer is currently visiting your home. If you rush back immediately, you should still be able to catch him. He has just survived a calamity—an unimaginably painful journey. What he needs now are not questions but consolation and a warm embrace.”

“Really?” Anna asked in disbelief. The certainty in Klein's voice was unlike any fortune teller she had known.

“You’ll find out once you go home,” Klein replied in a gentle tone, smiling.

“Oh, Lord of Steam, is that true? Has my poor Joyce really returned? Are you certain? No, I cannot believe it...” Anna froze for a moment, then blurted out a string of words.

She produced a one-soli note from her purse without waiting for Klein to give her change and broke into a small run. She rushed out of the Divination Club and took a carriage home.

“Does this include my tip?” Klein remarked, looking at the note and shaking his head with a laugh.

...

A two-wheeled carriage sped quickly through the streets and entered Eastside. Anna watched the scenery sweep past her, feeling a mixture of unease, anticipation, and fear. It wasn’t long before the toy windmill came into her view.

She alighted the carriage, hardly caring about her bearing as she hurried toward the door and rang the doorbell.

The door creaked open to reveal a young blond man in a black suit. Though haggard, his eyes glinted with joy, and his aquiline nose gave him a distinguished look.

“I thought I would miss you today,” Joyce said with a smile.

“...Oh, Lord of Steam above, you really are back!” Anna exclaimed joyfully, rubbing her eyes in disbelief.

What the fortune teller said was true!

No, that was arealseer!

It was simply incredible!

Thoughts swirled in her mind as Anna pounced forward, tears welling in her eyes, and wrapped her arms warmly around her fiancé.

Outside the gray-blue house, the two stood silently together as the toy windmill slowly turned. In that quiet moment, all of their troubles seemed to have been left far behind.
